Trainee - QA

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Analyze and document software defects and provide feedback to developers
• Participate in the design and development of automated test scripts
• Monitor and track software issues and defects
• Perform manual and automated tests on web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure product quality
• Analyze and document software requirements and user stories
• Create and maintain test data
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback
• Track and report on test progress and results
• Develop and maintain test documentation, such as test plans, test cases, and bug reports

Technical Skills :

A QA tester must have a bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or any other related field of study. Knowledge / experience as a QA tester or any other similar role. Efficient working knowledge of programming languages, test management software, and QA methodologies. Must have the proficiency of working well with a team and possess skills of critical thinking. Must be familiar with Agile frameworks where regression testing is a plus. Remarkable attention to detailing. Capable of documenting and troubleshooting errors. Outstanding communication skills. Extensive knowledge and understanding of certain test manager softwares like Zephyr, qTest, and SQL. An excellent aptitude for analytical mind and problem-solving. Significantly stronger organizational skills.
