Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Engineer with 5 7 years of experience managing and optimizing relational and non-relational database systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cloud, including strong proficiency in MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. Familiarity with Cassandra or other NoSQL technologies is a strong plus. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and data teams to ensure database reliability, performance, security, and scalability in both cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable database solutions across Cloud SQL on GCP.
• Administer and optimize MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases.
• Ensure database performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with software engineers and data analysts to design data models and support development activities.
• Implement database security best practices and manage access controls.
• Participate in data migration, transformation, and synchronization activities.
• Create and maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and procedures.
• Leverage automation tools for database deployment and maintenance tasks.
