Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Sr. Pattern Maker specializing in lingerie, swimwear, and activewear. The Sr. Pattern Maker will work closely with design and production teams to develop and finalize garment patterns that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. Key responsibilities include drafting and modifying patterns, conducting fittings, collaborating with designers to ensure quality and accuracy, and maintaining precise technical specifications for production. In addition, the candidate will oversee pattern adjustments for optimal fit and ensure materials are effectively utilized to minimize waste.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in pattern drafting, cutting, and grading techniques
• Expertise in lingerie, swimwear, and activewear construction and fit requirements
• Strong understanding of fabric properties and how they impact garment design and fit
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software for pattern making
• Attention to detail and technical accuracy in creating and reviewing patterns
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with designers, seamstresses, and production teams
• Proven experience in quality control and problem-solving during production
• A minimum of 1 years of experience in pattern making, preferably in lingerie, swimwear, or activewear
• Formal training or certification in pattern making and garment construction is preferred
