Responsibilities :

Client Interaction & Meetings :

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements. Present concepts, designs, and material options effectively to clients. Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining clear and polite communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Design Development :

Develop and present 2D space plans, CAD drawings, and detailed 3D models using

SketchUp and AutoCAD

• Create mood boards, design concepts, and material palettes that align with client expectations and project requirements. Compile detailed material lists and specifications to support project execution. Prepare and maintain documentation such as mood boards, concept notes, and presentation decks. Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, dimensions, and functionality for furniture and interior elements.

Project Execution :

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of designs. Conduct site visits to oversee the progress and ensure alignment with design specifications. Resolve on-site challenges promptly and effectively.

Material Knowledge & Sourcing :

Stay updated on the latest materials, finishes, and trends in the industry. Source and recommend materials that balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget.

Administrative Responsibilities :

Prepare project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines. Maintain organized documentation for designs, revisions, material lists, and client approvals.

Qualifications & Skills :

Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or an equivalent field. Technical Expertise : Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software. Material Knowledge : In-depth understanding of various materials, finishes, and furniture industry dimensions.

Soft Skills :

Strong conversational and interpersonal skills. Polite, punctual, and professional demeanour. Initiative-taking with exceptional problem-solving abilities. Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic environment. Leadership qualities with a proven ability to manage and mentor teams.

Work Experience : 3+ years in interior design or a related field with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
