Junior Illustrator

Gaysi Family, founded in 2008, is a media platform and community space for queer desis, amplifying individual voices and experiences from Southeast Asia. We encourage reflection and understanding of queerness as a philosophy and sensibility beyond sexual orientations and gender identities. At Gaysi we collaborate with brands and organizations to create gender- expansive and queer-affirmative media assets and events.

Gaysi Family also functions as a creative agency partner for other brands, where we design messaging, and full creative campaigns to drive partner brand awareness and visibility.

We are seeking a full-time, on-site junior Illustrator to join Gaysi Family in Mumbai. Must be based in Mumbai, ideally in the suburbs.

Key Responsibilities :

Create Diverse Illustrations

• Design inclusive, vibrant illustrations tailored for queer audiences across digital platforms.
• Explore and apply various art styles – from soft and dreamy to bold and chaotic – depending on the project vibe.

Design Social-First Visual Content

Experiment with Aesthetics & Formats

Collaborate with the Creative Team

Trend Research & Rule-Bending

Support Brand Projects

Prioritize Queer Joy & Visibility

Requirements :

Location : On-site (Khar West, Mumbai)

Compensation : 3.5Lacs-4.5Lacs (annual)
