Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Compliance Counsel to join Autodesks Legal Compliance team to help build, scale, and maintain a practical and effective compliance program. As the only member of the Compliance team to sit in Asia, you will be responsible for building relationships across Autodesks APACs offices and directing ethics & compliance efforts in that area. You will work with a cross-functional team to ensure on-going compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies; manage investigations into allegations of noncompliance; and help design and deliver employee training programs, new policy initiatives, and business guidance. This position will report to Autodesks Senior Director of Ethics & Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Ethics & Compliance team in APAC
• Provide subject-matter expertise and day-to-day legal advice on ethics and compliance matters, including anticorruption, conflicts of interest, competition law, and trade compliance, and related Autodesk policies
• Assess the impact of emerging risks and compliance regulations on business operations
• Assist in developing and implementing policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance with global laws; work with business units to ensure their effective enforcement
• Be primarily responsible for anticorruption procedures in APAC, including third party due diligence, gifts and entertainment requests, and potential conflicts of interests
• Create and deploy fresh and creative regional compliance education programs
• Investigate allegations of noncompliance and help drive remedial and preventative action as necessary
• Support the coordination of compliance audits
• Work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including legal colleagues, senior management, Government Affairs, Human Resources, and Audit & Advisory Services, to implement and enhance Autodesks Legal Compliance Programs
