About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Analyst with expertise in SAS and Excel (VBA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the Credit Risk domain and will be responsible for optimizing and streamlining existing reports, as well as conducting ad-hoc analysis to understand and explain the reports.
Key Responsibilities : Ledger Management :
Oversee and manage ledger entries related to regulatory reporting. Impairment Analysis :
Conduct impairment analysis to assess and report on the financial health of assets. Stress Testing and Forecasting :
Perform stress testing and forecasting to evaluate the impact of various scenarios on credit risk. Report Optimisation :
Enhance and streamline existing regulatory reports using SAS and Excel (VBA) to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Ad-Hoc Analysis :
Perform detailed ad-hoc analysis to interpret and explain report findings, providing insights into credit risk metrics. Data Management :
Manage and manipulate large datasets to support regulatory reporting requirements. Compliance :
Ensure all reports comply with regulatory standards and guidelines. Collaboration :
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide reporting solutions. Documentation :
Maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting processes and methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications : Technical Skills :
Proficiency in SAS, Excel, VBA is essential. Domain Knowledge :
Strong understanding of the Credit Risk domain, including ledger management, impairment analysis, stress testing, and forecasting. Analytical Skills :
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform complex data analysis. Attention to Detail :
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in report preparation and analysis. Communication Skills :
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations. Experience :
Previous experience in regulatory reporting or a related field is preferred.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Credit Risk or related areas are a plus.
