Role Overview :
As an OIC Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of integration solutions within the Oracle Integration Cloud platform.
This includes requirements gathering, architectural design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
You will work closely with various business units and technical teams to ensure our systems communicate efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement complex integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to connect various enterprise applications (cloud and on-premise).
- Utilize OIC's core functionalities, including orchestrations, integrations, adapters, and business processes, to meet specific business requirements.
- Configure and manage various OIC connections such as SOAP, REST, Database, FTP, and ERP adapters.
- Implement robust fault handling mechanisms and error logging within OIC integrations to ensure data integrity and system stability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes, identifying and resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration needs, translate them into technical specifications, and propose optimal OIC-based solutions.
- Perform migration of OIC components across different environments (e., Development, Test, Production).
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration flows and configurations.
- Stay updated with the latest OIC features, best practices, and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), demonstrating a deep understanding of its capabilities and limitations.Proficiency in OIC integration design patterns and activities, including Stage File, Local Integration Invoke, Wait, and Fault activities.Expertise in various Stage File operations, such as listing files, zipping / unzipping, reading, and writing.Demonstrated experience in configuring and utilizing diverse OIC connections, including but not limited to SOAP, REST, Database, FTP, and Oracle ERP Cloud adapters.Strong command over FTP operations within OIC orchestrated flows, such as download and list files.Proven experience with database integration within OIC, including SQL queries and handling large data volumes.Extensive experience with FBDI (File-Based Data Import) or web service-based integrations (e., SOAP / REST APIs).Strong abilities in monitoring, debugging, and troubleshooting OIC components and integration flows.Proficiency in OIC Lookup configuration for data mapping and transformation.Solid understanding of SQL and basic PL / SQL for database interactions and data manipulation.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Desired Skills and Bonus Points :
Knowledge of OIC connection roles (Trigger, Invoke, Trigger and Invoke) and advanced fault handling strategies.Experience with OIC Report service, Library configuration, and certificate & key management.Familiarity with large file manipulation techniques (e., segment read) and encryption / decryption within FTP / Stage file operations.Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) reports.Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Streaming services.Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration certification.Application Process :
