TL;DR : We're looking for a sharp Account Manager for a fast-growing US-based marketing agency specialising in multi-location businesses. What you’ll do :
- Client relationship owner : You'll be the primary point of contact for accounts, building strong relationships with 3-5 key stakeholders who collectively oversee 100-250+ locations.
- Performance translator : Pull insights from Looker dashboards to answer any client queries. You're not diving deep into data analysis (there's a specialist for that), but you need to understand what the metrics mean and communicate them clearly.
- Growth driver : Identify opportunities to expand budgets and introduce new services to existing clients. This isn't just account maintenance – you're actively looking for ways to grow both their business and ours.
- Independent operator with training wheels : You'll spend your first 3-6 months learning the ropes and then transition to managing your own portfolio of accounts.
- Cross-functional collaborator : Work alongside the ad operations, data, and strategy teams to ensure clients get exceptional service. You're the quarterback calling the plays.
Who we’re looking for :
Someone with 3+ years of experience who has the following skills and traits :
Marketing mindset first : You have a strong marketing background and understand digital marketing metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS) intuitively. You can look at campaign performance and immediately spot what's working and what isn't.Natural communicator : You're equally comfortable jumping on calls with clients, rallying internal teams, and holding people accountable when you need something done.A-player mentality : You're a self-starter who doesn't need to be micromanaged. Give you direction on what needs to happen this month, and you'll figure out how to make it happen.Project management pro : You've used tools like Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, or similar platforms to keep work organised.Dashboard literate : You can navigate a Looker dashboard (or similar BI tool) and extract answers to client questions quickly. Think "proficient user" rather than "dashboard builder."Client service DNA : You genuinely care about making clients successful.
