We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Solution Architect with deep expertise in the Cards and Payments domain to play a critical leadership role in shaping our digital transformation journey. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong architectural insight, domain authority, and a passion for driving innovation in financial services.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead Architectural Design

Take ownership of end-to-end architectural design for cards issuance, transaction authorization, and platform modernization. Define and deliver scalable, resilient, and customer-centric solutions aligned with our enterprise goals.

Domain Expertise & Strategic Influence

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Cards and Payments across the organization. Provide architectural leadership and become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across both customer-facing and internal journeys.

Cloud Transformation & Modernization

Drive key modernization initiatives, including the migration of legacy card systems to cloud-native architectures (preferably AWS). Champion best practices for microservices, event-driven architecture, and containerization.

Technology Strategy & Governance

Collaborate closely with enterprise architects and stakeholders at the CTO and CIO levels to shape and influence the broader technology strategy. Ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Innovative Design Practices

Promote and apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD), API-first thinking, and advanced integration patterns. Lead architecture governance and ensure consistency, security, and scalability across solutions.

Required Skills and Experience :

Extensive Architectural Leadership

Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale, mission-critical architectures within Cards, Payments, or Financial Services. Capable of setting architectural direction and executing transformation strategies across multi-functional teams.

Deep Domain Knowledge

Profound understanding of Cards (issuance, authorization, clearing & settlement), core banking, and payments infrastructure. Strong awareness of regulatory and compliance landscapes.

Cloud and Integration Expertise

Proven experience designing and deploying cloud-native solutions on AWS, including use of services such as ECS, Lambda, EventBridge, and S3. Expertise in designing streaming architectures and decoupled integrations using Kafka or similar technologies.

Domain-Driven and Data Architecture

Solid grasp of Domain-Driven Design, including bounded contexts and aggregate roots. Strong experience with data platforms, data governance, and analytics enablement in financial ecosystems.

Stakeholder Management

Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for executive and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with cards platform migration, including core system replacement and integration with FinTech ecosystems.

In-depth knowledge of digital servicing, card lifecycle management, and secure lending product architectures.

Background in operational models for cards and payments processing, including vendor and partner platform integration.
