About the role :

A non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of generational poverty among historically under-resourced communities is looking for a proactive and visionary Alumni Manager.

The Alumni Manager will lead and manage engagement with students who have successfully been selected into JNVs RGNVs and EMRS institutions . This role is responsible for developing and managing structured alumni networks peer mentorship models academic and emotional support systems and career guidance opportunities for these students in residential schools.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Alumni Engagement & Mentorship Development :

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of all selected students.
• Establish a structured peer mentorship program connecting junior students (Class 6-8) with seniors (Class 9-12) for emotional support motivation and academic guidance.
• Facilitate regular interactions (quarterly or bi-annual) with alumni to track schooling progress emotional well-being and parental engagement.
• Design and implement a buddy system to reduce the risk of dropouts and build immediate support structures.

Essential Qualifications & Skills :

Experience : Minimum 4-6 years of experience in the development / education sector preferably in alumni engagement career counseling or partnerships.

Language : Strong communication skillsfluent in English and Hindi both spoken and written.

Collaboration : Proven ability to build and manage strategic partnerships with external stakeholders.

Technical : Comfort with digital tools data management and MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
