Quality Assurance Data Analyst

About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Data Analyst to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data across our platforms. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and governance teams to test data models, validate transformations, and maintain high standards of data Responsibilities :

• Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and QA artifacts.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts specifically for DBT (Data Build Tool) data models and pipelines.
• Validate data transformation logic and end-to-end data flows using SQL and related tools.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with requirements.
• Perform rigorous data validation and reconciliation between source systems and target platforms.
• Coordinate with data governance teams to ensure accurate mapping and maintenance of metadata in Collibra.
• Review and validate business glossaries, data lineage, and metadata assets within the Collibra platform.
• Identify, track, and document data quality issues, and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.
• Participate in peer reviews of DBT models and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices.
• Automate QA processes using Python, SQL, or other test automation frameworks.
• Support compliance and data governance initiatives by enforcing QA standards and best practices.
