Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions within the Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) platform.
• Configure and customize FSL features including Service Appointments, Work Orders, Service Resources, Scheduling & Optimization, Dispatch Console, and Mobile Flows.
• Develop and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to extend FSL functionality.
• Integrate FSL with other Salesforce clouds (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud) and external systems using various integration patterns (REST, SOAP APIs, Platform Events).
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to translate complex field service business requirements into technical specifications and scalable FSL solutions.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for FSL implementations.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues within the FSL environment, providing timely and effective resolutions.
• Optimize FSL configurations and custom code for performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and FSL architectural guidelines.
• Manage FSL solution deployments using change sets, Salesforce DX, or other deployment tools.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on FSL best practices and development techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest FSL features, releases, and industry best :
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a significant focus (at least 3-4 years) on Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) implementations.
• Proven expertise in FSL configuration and customization, including deep knowledge of the FSL data model.
• Strong proficiency in Apex programming, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and various integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce declarative features (Flow, Process Builder, Workflows, Validation Rules).
• Experience with FSL Mobile application customization and offline capabilities.
• Knowledge of FSL scheduling and optimization logic and configuration.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Salesforce certifications relevant to FSL (Salesforce Certified Field Service Lightning Consultant, Platform Developer I / II) are highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills specific to the FSL platform.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
