As ADI expands into new product and market segments, the Battery Management System Team within the automotive team is looking for a highly skilled Post Silicon and System Validation Engineer based in Bengaluru, India who will be responsible for executing the silicon and system validation activities for our next generation of high-performance product portfolio.
Context on the role :
As a Silicon Validation Engineer, you will perform a full range of product development activities including, but not limited to :
Job Duties :
- Understand the product requirements, develop and execute the BMS IC validation plan
- Apply the domain knowledge of BMS systems and customer insights into product validation plan development and execution.
- Design and build custom test hardware to evaluate battery management systems products.
- Debug and resolve system issues with cross functional team from design, test, and applications.
- Collaborate in a dynamic team environment to learn and deploy best practices in application development
Requirements
BS / BEE or MTech Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and 4-6 years of Industrial work Experience in the post silicon validation and / or system application and application Engineering.Experience developing test plan, test cases, building test environment and executing test plans against silicon and system level specifications.Hands on experience in programming with python, Embedded C in microcontrollerExperience in FPGA programming with VerilogDemonstrated experience in Embedded firmware development / testing for drivers, framework, application code development, testing, and optimizationDemonstrated experience in debugging low level hardware interfaces (USB, SPI, I2C, UART, PWM, GPIO, ADC / DACs etc.).Demonstrated hardware design skills with good proficiency in PCB DesignGood academic knowledge in Signal processing algorithms and LTspice / MATLAB simulations preferred.Experience with Automotive SW and HW development process is preferredKnowledge of ISO26262 and understanding of functional Safety is preferred.Willingness and ability to learn something new quicklyHas a bias for action and works in collaboration with others to deliver results.Why you will like working at ADI :
