Job Title :

Part-Time Research Assistant (MBBS Graduate – Paid Position)

Location :

Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi

Working Hours :

4 hours per day (Monday to Saturday), flexible within hospital timings

Duration :

3 months (with potential for extension based on performance and project needs)

Stipend :

25,000 per month (consolidated)

Role Summary :

We are seeking a committed MBBS graduate (with completed internship) for a part-time, hospital-based research position in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Kumar .

This is a hands-on research role involving direct work with patient records and data relevant to ongoing retrospective and ambispective studies .

Key Responsibilities :

Daily in-hospital presence for 4 hours
Data extraction from medical records and case files
Interaction with patients for data clarification (where needed)
Completing structured proformas / CRFs
Performing literature searches (PubMed, Google Scholar, etc.)
Assisting with basic statistical analysis (Excel / SPSS)
Supporting manuscript preparation (tables, graphs, references)

Eligibility Criteria :

MBBS degree with completed internship (mandatory)

Based in Delhi NCR or able to commute daily to the hospital

Not appearing for any major entrance exam (NEET PG / USMLE) in the next 3 months

Prior research or publication experience is desirable but not mandatory

Familiarity with literature review tools and basic statistics preferred

Sincere, punctual, and willing to learn
