Role : Tech Lead

Location : Bangalore (WFO)

Experience : 7+ years in product engineering

Type : Full-time | Core Engineering Team

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop core backend systems and infrastructure for a modern web platform
  • Own large product initiatives end-to-end from architecture to deployment and post-launch iterations
  • Collaborate with product, design, and founding teams to build seamless user experiences
  • Integrate AI and LLMs (e.g. RAG, intelligent discovery) into production systems
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and observability across all services
  • Contribute to internal tools that enhance community experience and operational efficiency
  • Influence long-term engineering direction, code quality standards, and hiring

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of hands-on backend development experience in fast-paced, product-first environments
  • Deep expertise in TypeScript (Node.js); Golang experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of system design, performance optimization, and data modeling
  • Experience working with LLMs, AI integrations, or real-time search / discovery features
  • Hands-on experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines in production is essential.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, CI / CD pipelines, and cloud-native development
  • Prior experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven systems
  • A bias for ownership, clean code, and shipping value quickly
  • Bonus : Experience with cohort-based learning or community products
