AP Accountant

Accounts Payable Accountant Role Overview :

As an Accounts Payable Specialist within the Global Business Services Hub in Krakw, you will play a vital role in supporting business entities across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for various key functions, including invoice processing, invoice payments, invoice queries, supplier and internal stakeholder management and actively contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Role Responsibilities :

• Processing of PO and non-PO invoices and following up on approvals
• Ensure invoices are processed in line with local accounting and tax requirements
• Handling invoice queries and escalations from suppliers
• Preparing payment proposals to ensure timely and accurate outgoing payments
• Follow up and resolution of blocked invoices and pro-actively address AP aged open items
• Solve errors in a most efficient way
• Prepare, understand, and review monthly account reconciliations
• Be responsible for assigned legal entities, including vendor open items (VOI) and Goods Receipt No Invoice (GRNI)
• Perform follow ups to ensure timely closing of outstanding item continuity
• Proactively reach out to stakeholders to initiate process improvements
• Partner to ensure updated documentation is in place
• Guarantee the compliance of our organizational regulations and contribute to internal or external SOX and Internal Audit controls
