Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead sponsorship sales for assigned IAMAI events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue targets by developing and maintaining relationships with prospective sponsors. This role may also include managing a small team of sales executives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive sponsorship sales for assigned events to meet or exceed revenue targets through strategic outreach and proactive sales efforts.
- Develop and nurture relationships with mid-level decision-makers at potential sponsor organizations via calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
- Identify and research new sponsorship opportunities through industry research and networking.
- Create compelling and customized sponsorship proposals and presentations tailored to client -objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, event execution, etc.) to design bespoke sponsorship packages.
- Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline; track and forecast revenue for assigned events.
- Ensure timely and professional post-sale client servicing and relationship management.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure successful delivery of sponsorship commitments.
- Mentor and support sales executives, senior executives, or management trainees, as Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the events or sponsorship industry.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the technology and digital sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand client business needs and craft tailored sponsorship solutions.
- Well-organized and process-oriented approach to managing the sales funnel.
- Experience in team management is a plus.
