Position Overview :

Akaike AI is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The SDR will play a critical role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities. This position is ideal for someone with 2+ years of sales experience—preferably with exposure to the U.S. B2B technology / AI / DS / Analytics domain —who is eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in the AI industry.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation : Conduct research to identify potential customers, using various tools and strategies to generate qualified leads.
  • Outbound Outreach : Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media to introduce Akaike AI’s products and services.
  • U.S. Market Focus : Execute outbound campaigns tailored specifically to U.S.-based prospects , understanding time zones, business etiquette, and key market challenges.
  • Qualification : Engage in meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, and determine their fit for Akaike AI’s solutions.
  • Pipeline Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and prospect interactions in the CRM system.(Hubspot)
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the sales, presales, product and marketing teams and refine outreach strategies, share market insights, and ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
  • Product Knowledge : Stay up-to-date with Akaike AI’s product and services offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects.
  • Follow-up : Diligently follow up with prospects to build relationships and nurture them through the sales funnel.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : 2+ years of experience in a B2B sales, lead generation, or business development role, preferably in the technology / AI / DS / Analytics industry. Credible experience in handling U.S.-based clients or leads are mandated.
  • Education : A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively, especially for a North American audience.
  • Interpersonal Skills : Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with prospects and team members.
  • Motivation : Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Organization : Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Tech-Savvy : Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., Hubspot), sales engagement tools, and other technology / AI platforms to enhance productivity.
  • Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions and priorities.
