Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets | Wealth & Investment Platforms

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst with deep domain knowledge in Capital Markets and Investment Products to join a high-impact Business Transformation team within Wealth Management.
This is a strategic, cross-functional role where you'll lead complex change initiatives focused on trade lifecycle systems, investment product workflows, and order management platforms . What You'll Do
Business Analysis & Transformation :
- Drive business requirements and reengineering initiatives across Capital Markets investment product platforms .
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and target operating models .
- Lead gap analysis and process optimizations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Engage with stakeholders from Front Office, Risk, Treasury, Product Control, and Compliance to align initiatives with strategic goals.
- Support program managers with project tracking, risk resolution, and executive-level reporting.
Scrum & Delivery Leadership :
Act as Product Owner within Agile Scrum teams , managing backlog, sprint goals, and prioritization.Drive alignment between business timelines and IT deliverables.Facilitate workshops, problem-solving sessions, and roadmap discussions with tech and operations.Business Readiness & Testing :
Lead pre-UAT testing and user acceptance strategies , ensuring solution readiness across systems.Convert use cases into detailed test conditions, scripts, and data scenarios .Manage issue classification, bug tracking, retesting, and rollout coordination.Contribute to training materials, user communications, and post-implementation reviews .What You Bring
8+ years of total experience in Treasury / Markets or Wealth Management , with at least 5+ years in a Capital Markets business analyst or SME role .Deep understanding of derivatives, trade lifecycle workflows, corporate actions , and relevant regulatory environments .Strong project experience delivering cross-border, large-scale transformation initiatives.Skilled in tools like Excel, Visio, JIRA, and Confluence .Familiar with platforms like Avaloq, FinIQ, Contineo , or custom front-office systems .Technical familiarity with Excel Macros, VBA, Python, SQL is a plus.Data visualization skills in Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView are desirable.Ideal Candidate Traits
