The Role

There are two halves to this role : First, contributing to current projects where you analyze problems and tech issues, offer solutions, and test, modify, automate, and integrate systems. And second, long-range strategic planning of IT infrastructure and operational execution. This role isnt specific to any one platform, so youll need a good feel for all of them. And because of this, youll experience variety and growth at Kyndryl that you wont find anywhere else.

Youll be involved early to offer solutions, help decide whether something can be done, and identify the technical and timeline risks up front. This means dealing with both client expectations and internal challenges in other words, there are plenty of opportunities to make a difference, and a lot of people will witness your contributions. In fact, a frequent sign of success for our Infrastructure Specialists is when clients come back to us and ask for the same person by name. Thats the kind of impact you can have!

This is a project-based role where youll enjoy deep involvement throughout the lifespan of a project, as well as the chance to work closely with Architects, Technicians, and PMs. Whatever your current level of tech savvy or where you want your career to lead, youll find the right opportunities and a buddy to support your growth. Required Professional and Technical Expertise :

• 7 years of experience in managing CRO (Sanovi DRM Automation) on Linux and any database (Oracle, MySQL).
• Should be able to understand DR-DRILL Manual RUN-BOOK, to map them into Kyndryl Resiliency Orchestration solution (Sanovi DRM solution) Workflow creation and maintenance.
• Should be able to create new workflows for new requirements and be able to support it.
• Should be able to manage post-implementation daily maintenance tasks, Dry runs etc to ensure CRO setup in functional.
• Strong understanding of the Data Protection (Back-up & Recovery, BCP DR, Storage Replication, Database Native Replications, Data Archival & Retention) for application workloads such as MS SQL, Exchange, Oracle, SAP, VMware, Hyper V, azure, AWS Bluemix etc.
• Extremely good hands-on experience with Standalone and Clustered UNIX (AIX / Solaris / HPUX / RHEL / etc.) and windows platform.
• TCL / Shell / Batch / PowerShell / Expect Scripts or similar scripting languages is must.
• Strong experience in using the conditional statement, loops, list items, get string & date manipulation etc.
• Should be able to write scripts to integrate with different technologies using CLIs / APIs.
• Understand and strong knowledge of any Storage Replication technology with various DR Scenarios.
• Deep expertise within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Enterprise IT application experience.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following : software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
• Must have experience driving for engineering solutions and working across team.
• Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce conclusions and responses.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
• Strong process improvement experience.

Preferred Professional Certification

Education

Degree / masters degree in IT background.
