Responsibilities

• Data Monitoring & Quality Assurance :
• Serve as first point of contact for all issues related to information and data within the data points.
• Support keeping documentation updated (e.g data dictionaries, business rules, and validation criteria).
• Track which system uses what data and for what purposes.
• Monitor data for discrepancies or anomalies (e.g., Location : incorrect addresses, duplicate locations, or missing data; Product : code set miss-matches or missing data).
• Creation of data related reports and monitoring to ensure that the data is aligned with expected standard.
• Trouble shoot data errors and gaps to identify system defects, user error, or process gaps.
• Follow policies established by Governance teams to ensure corrections are made in a timely fashion.
• Data Lifecycle Management :
• Oversee the creation, modification, and deletion of data (e.g. Location : Addresses, Locations and related attributes; Product : TBD - future state).
• Stakeholder Collaboration :
• Hold meetings to align discrepancies across different consumers.
• Bring key issues and trends to Data Governance and Product Management to highlight opportunities for improved business rules / enhancements to reduce risk of error.
• Review regularly updates to the data integrity and quality with key business partners.
• Data Governance Policies Enforcement :
• Educate and enforce compliance with data governance policies.
• Create documentation and communication plans.
• Establish regular trainings with users to ensure standards are followed.
