Role : Android Engineer (SDE 2)

Location : Bangalore

Employment Type : Full-Time

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in native Android development and be proficient in Kotlin and Java. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications that deliver a seamless and high-quality user experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and tools

QUALIFICATIONS :

4-8 years of proven experience in Android development

Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java

Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

Strong understanding of mobile UI / UX principles

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
