Design, review, upgrade and maintain set of controls designed to mitigate operational, financial and business risks while ensuring business continuity
Monitor cash-flow (through efficient management of AR, AP) and ensure a healthy cash-operating-cycle
Ensure (long- and short- term) funds are made available for steel business
Align with business objectives (as enunciated periodically by Management). Work (internally) with CFO, Plant Managers, heads of all business functions and (externally) with bankers, regulators etc to ensure achievement of business objectives
Review and constantly upgrade accounting systems; risk mitigation frameworks; performance guidance; etc to pitch to investors for cost-effective funds, and, prepare for IPO
Commission auditors for periodically conducting process and special audits for reducing business risks and upgrading process controls (around aspects critical to cost or to quality or to customer etc)
Commission consultants for deploying contemporary IT tools (like AI, ML) to bring to surface data-based insights critical to business
Map cost chain and value chain
Design and develop (numeric & visual) dashboards through Lighthouse ERP for all stake-holders for a quick-but-comprehensive, daily, real time summary of operational & financial performance of steel business (across cost and value chain)
Drive teams in all functions across steel business (@ Bellary and @ Hyderabad) to ensure consistent achievement of above real time dash boards to enable all stake-holders (Promoters, CFO, Plant Heads, Function Heads etc) to implement corrective & preventive actions as also to drive improvements
Oversee local and business level consolidation of accounts
