Purpose of Position

The job incumbent is responsible for inspection in QA / QC field of IND business (Oil & Gas, Power and Petrochemical Industries). The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

Major Responsibilities

• Inspection, Quality Control, Assessment of various Field Instruments like Pressure, Temperature, Flow & Level Transmitters, Indicators, Gauges, etc. LT Elect Equipment like Motors, Generators, Transformers, Switchboards, Switchgears, cables, insulators, Battery Chargers, PLC / DCS / SCADA Systems, ESD,F&G Systems, etc., at vendor premises & sites.
• Quality Audit, testing witness, verification of testing procedures of various equipment, review of vendor drawings, technical specifications.
• Site inspection of Instrumentation related Installations at Power Plant / Oil & Gas locations.
• Inspection of Cables HT and LT, Panels HT and LT, FLP equipments, motors, etc., for various Projects.
• Inspection of Computer hardware, servers, etc.
• Vendor evaluation & Expediting, Customer satisfaction surveys, coordination with vendors and clients.
• Developing new clients and Tender bidding.
• Training on safety.
• Preparation of Conformity Report and Non-conformity Report of different Instrumentation Items & basic Electrical equipments and materials.
• Analysis of the quality of Instrumentation related equipments and materials as per Indian Standard and International Standard and take suitable measures for quality control as per the standard.
• Witness to Calibration checks & different testing on the electrical equipments and materials for compatibility checking as per requirement of the consumer.

Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

Qualification and Experience

An Engineering Graduate / Diploma / B.Sc (Instrumentation / Electronics) with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
