The Software domain refers to the area within Information Technology that focuses on the development, deployment, management, and maintenance of software applications that support business processes and user needs.

This includes development, application lifecycle management, requirement analysis, QA, security & compliance, and maintaining the applications and infrastructure.

What You will Do :

• Design and develop test strategy, test planning, and test approach for product design, develop, execute, and maintain test scenarios and test cases and, for Web-based, Mobile, Desktop, and API applications across different platform offerings.
• A very good understanding of Behaviour Driven Development, the strategies that result in fast-running, flexible

test suites, and how BDD impacts the design of the software.

Develop bespoke automation frameworks with multi-layer automation across UI, APIs, and back-end systems

Establish testing as an integral part of the development process within cross-functional teams. Develop maintainable automated checks in collaboration with our development teams.

Proactively suggest improvements in testing tools for better test coverage for automation.

Detect and report defects and close follow-up to ensure closure of issues

Assess and bring continuous improvements to the overall quality work closely with the development team to debug any issue participate in scrum calls with customers and internal stakeholders contribute to POC on the

upcoming toolsets

Conduct Root cause analysis for the production defects and improve test assets work on refactoring the existing framework as per the requirement.

Develop and execute SQL queries to perform database testing and validate data integrity

Test and validate APIs using tools like Postman or REST Assured

Participate in code reviews to ensure the testability, maintainability, and performance of software applications

Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using JavaScript

Write and execute automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage

Collaborate with software engineers and QA teams to define testing strategies

Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution

Contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI / CD) pipelines for automated testing

Perform both functional and performance testing to ensure application reliability

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including experience with test automation frameworks like Cypress

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and best practices

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience with API testing using tools like Postman

Familiarity with cross-browser testing and mobile automation

Knowledge of cloud environments like AWS

Test Automation : Selenium, TestNG, Postman, SonarQube, Cypress, JUnit / NUnit / PyTest, Cucumber, Playwright, Wiremock / Mockito / Moq.

Ability to optimize solutions for performance, resiliency and reliability while maintaining an eye toward simplicity.

Ability to concisely convey ideas verbally, in writing, in code, and in diagrams.

Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles.

Proficiency in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM.

Proficiency in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and continuous deployment.

LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS :

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization.
