Tata Motors Finance is a leading financial services company committed to empowering individuals and businesses through tailored financial solutions. We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Branch Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Seoni. This role is critical in driving our commercial vehicle financing business, achieving sales targets, and fostering strong relationships within the local ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of financial risk assessment, and a proven track record in sales management within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Leadership & Strategy :

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed individual and branch sales targets for commercial vehicle financing and other financial products.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans aligned with regional and national business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and refine sales approaches.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate ongoing training for the sales team.

Business Development & Client Relationship Management :

  • Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients, commercial vehicle dealers, and other stakeholders within the local commercial vehicle ecosystem.
  • Actively source new clients and foster business growth through various channels, including dealer networks, direct sales, and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Understand client financing needs and propose suitable financial products and solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling other financial products offered by Tata Motors Finance.
  • Credit Assessment & Risk Management :

  • Oversee the evaluation of commercial vehicle loan applications, ensuring thoroughness and adherence to company policies.
  • Assess borrower creditworthiness by meticulously analyzing financial statements, tax returns, credit history, and other relevant financial documents.
  • Determine appropriate loan terms, including interest rates, loan structure, and required collateral, based on risk assessment.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with commercial vehicle financing transactions, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the sales team adheres to robust credit and risk management practices.
  • Operational Excellence & Compliance :

  • Ensure all sales activities and processes comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and client records.
  • Collaborate with credit, operations, and other internal departments to streamline processes and ensure smooth transaction flow.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably as a Branch Sales Manager or similar, within the financial services industry, with a focus on commercial vehicle financing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and its financing needs.
  • Excellent ability to analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents to accurately assess credit risk and borrower creditworthiness.
  • Demonstrated capability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with commercial vehicle financing.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, dealers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and credit appraisal.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Residing in or willing to relocate to Seoni, Madhya Pradesh.
