Job Summary :
The Regional Sales Head will be a pivotal leader responsible for driving aggressive revenue growth and market share expansion for Bharat Natural Elements within a designated region. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong hands-on approach to sales, capable of building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will possess deep market knowledge of the sports infrastructure sector, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Sales Leadership : Develop and execute comprehensive regional sales strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives and growth targets for sports infrastructure products (courts, turf, flooring, etc.).
2. Conduct thorough market analysis, identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities within the region.
3. Set realistic and ambitious sales targets for the regional team and individual sales managers / executives.
4. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
5. Team Leadership & Development : Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing regional sales team.
6. Provide continuous coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
7. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer-centricity, and excellence within the sales team.
8. Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, share best practices, and address challenges.
9. Business Development & Key Account Management : Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on schools, colleges, universities, sports academies, clubs, resorts, real estate developers, government bodies (municipal corporations, sports authorities), and corporate clients.
10. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, decision-makers, and stakeholders.
11. Lead high-value negotiations and close strategic deals.
1. Represent Bharat Natural Elements at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand network and generate leads.
13. Operational Excellence : Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to proposal submission, negotiation, and closing.
14. Ensure effective utilization of CRM tools for pipeline management, lead tracking, and sales reporting.
15. Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to develop effective sales enablement tools, promotional campaigns, and brand visibility initiatives.
16. Work with the Operations and Project teams to ensure seamless project execution, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery.
Demonstrated experience in the sports infrastructure, sports goods, construction, or building materials industry is highly preferred. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding aggressive sales targets.
Strong understanding of the Indian sports infrastructure market, including procurement processes for government and private projects.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM) and MS Office Suite.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
