Job Purpose
Engineering Manager role entails 2 / 3rd SDE 3 Engineer and 1 / 3rd Engineering Manager responsibilities. Overseeing designs, enforcing engineering best practices, ensuring compliance, managing development, maintaining technical quality, and handling deployment, rollout, and engineering support.

Technology strategy and design

Education & Background
Bachelor of Engineering, preferably in computer science and related streamsSoftware Engineering with 10+ years of experienceExperience in leading engineering teams and initiatives.Technology
Strong experience in hands on software engineering for business applicationsDeep understanding of engineering principles, system design, and development workflows.Ability to guide and evaluate technical decisions.Dexterity to quickly pick up and work on multiple languages and tech stacksClarity of thinking and detail orientationAgile, flexible, resourceful mindset along with a best practices and safe deployment approachExperience in digital commerce and retailPreference for experience in tech start-up (small company)Leadership and People Skills
