Position : Business Head - Automation Solutions for ANFD

Reporting To : Directors of the organization
Objective : Build and scale the automation solutions business for ANFD to achieve a revenue target of 100 Cr within three years, managing it like a startup within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Strategy :
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to achieve the 100 Cr revenue target within three years.
- Identify and capture new market opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline and driving business development initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs to refine the product offering and strengthen the value proposition.
2. Customer Engagement & Deal Closure :
Lead technical and commercial discussions with customers, particularly their process and instrumentation teams.Oversee feasibility studies and process analyses to provide tailored automation solutions.Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.3. Project Management Excellence :
Ensure timely and successful execution of complex projects while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment across all phases of the project lifecycle.Navigate and resolve complexities in both internal (R&D, execution, sales) and external (customer contracts, pricing) negotiations.4. Team Leadership & Coordination :
Entire automation team will report to this role, technical as well as business developmentCollaborate effectively with the existing sales manager, R&D, and execution teams to ensure cohesive operations and delivery.Cultivate a startup-like culture focused on innovation, agility, and ownership within the automation business.Define KPIs and metrics to measure and drive the success of the automation vertical.5. Financial and Operational Oversight :
Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L for the automation solutions vertical.Optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.Implement systems to track and improve project efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.Qualifications and Experience
Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields). MBA or equivalent in Business Management is preferred.Experience :12+ years of experience in automation, industrial solutions, or project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven success in scaling a business or product line, ideally in process automation or industrial solutions for chemical / pharma industries.Strong background in process engineering, instrumentation, and automation technologies.Expertise in managing multi-stakeholder projects.Key Skills and Attributes
