About the Role
This is a leadership role accountable for sales and profitability of Aviat Networks Oceania region while focusing on efforts to drive the adoption of Aviat products, solutions, and services within the key market segments including but not limited to Telco / mobile operators, enterprise, and private network segments.
Responsibilities

- Embrace market back approach of value selling
- Operating independently and effectively managing the sales cycle from opportunity identification through close.
- Regular reporting of performance and activities
- Representing Aviat at exhibitions, tradeshows, events
- Supporting other regional line management and functions in meeting financial and business objectives
Revenue & Profitability
Taking full initiative to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets assigned to the defined territoryHunt for new businessProviding accurate sales forecasts on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis using SalesForce / spreadsheetsMaintaining and ensuring profit margins are in keeping with corporate directivesSales & Channels
Develop an overall business and account plan leading to the deployment of a well-executed team selling effort into the assigned accounts and conduct regular reviews to ensure that plan is still relevant and suitable.Directly manage Telco / mobile operators, Enterprise, Private Networks and channel accountsEstablish a strong channels network that can help expand and promote Aviat business in the territoryInitiate programs to engage top 3 channel partners to continually motivate them to grow Aviat businessQualifications and Experience
Experience
Proven track record in sales management with exceptional track record in selling services / solutions.5+ years of relevant experience in SalesIndividual must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral and is able to articulate thoughts and concepts clearly.Able to interact at all levels within customer and partner organizations.Familiar with sales cycle including booking and revenue forecasting.Exceptional selling, negotiating, and presentation skills is preferred.Track record of meeting quotas year after year.Technology background is a must.Skills
Highly proficient in spoken and written English.Able to compose business correspondence and express thoughts and ideas clearly.Ability to have and maintain interpersonal relationsAbility to work well within a teamTechnical and analytical skillsBusiness acumenCan work independently with minimum supervisionDisciplined, organized, and hard workingHighly proficient in MS OfficeWorking Conditions and Environment
