IWS - Senior QA Engineer - Manual / Automation Testing

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and API-based applications.
• Perform both manual and automated testing across different layers (UI, API, DB).
• Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and RestAssured.
• Automate functional and regression test cases for fast and reliable release cycles.
• Conduct thorough debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for issues.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Own and drive QA best practices across the engineering team.
• Perform load and performance testing where applicable.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Create detailed bug reports and track them to closure using tools like Skills :
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI test automation.
• Proficiency in Java for scripting automated test cases.
• Solid experience in API Testing using Postman and RestAssured.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies (black box, white box, regression, smoke, integration).
• Experience in manual testing with an eye for detail and edge-case analysis.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.
• Good knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend verification.
