The core responsibilities for the job include the following :
Backend Development :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and associated frameworks.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to build innovative and user-centric features that address key business needs.
System Optimization and Performance :
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in system components, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability.Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases for optimal performance and functionality.Code Quality and Documentation :
Write high-quality, maintainable code based on detailed product requirements and designs.Drive the development of automated tests, perform rigorous code reviews, and maintain technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.Collaboration and Mentorship :
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.Provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and adherence to best practices.Requirements :
Brings a minimum of 4+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years focused on Python-based frameworks.Has hands-on experience with Python 3.7 Django 2.2+, and REST APIs.Possesses a minimum of 1 year of experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.Experience working with both NoSQL and SQL databases.Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as a hands-on self starter.Willingness to learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.Hands-on, self-starter, capable of working independently.True love for technology and what you do.Maniacal attention to detail.ref : hirist.tech)
