• This is an intermediate role, well suited to candidates who have had more than three years’ experience.
• Responsibilities
• Ideating, filming and editing videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
• Taking photos and editing images for website and social use
• Ensuring all content is visually appealing and on-brand for OurAuckland
• Working collaboratively with the Auckland Council comms team and the Medium Rare OurAuckland team to produce creative and engaging content
• Who are you?
• A qualification in photography, videography, video editing or relevant experience
• A portfolio showcasing your photography, videography and editing skills
• Proficiency in Adobe CC, particularly Photoshop and Premiere Pro
• Knowledge of camera operation, composition, lighting, and framing to capture high-quality video footage and photography
• Familiarity with best practices for content on digital platforms
• Technically proficient with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues
• Willingness to provide production support to the wider team with a particular emphasis on storing, sharing and managing large volumes of content in line with agency processes
• Professional written and spoken English language skills
