Functional Responsibilities :
- Utilize business intelligence tools and data analysis techniques to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.
- Create and design reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide insights into key business metrics and performance indicators.
- Create semantic data models with dimensions, facts and relationships to build a robust business intelligence reporting environment.
- Collaborating with data team for the purpose of data collection, dashboard design and enhance existing business intelligence platforms.
- Develop and maintain a library of standardized reports and templates for SALIC business units and stakeholders.
- Customize reports to meet specific departmental or project requirements.
- Use data visualization tools to present complex data in a clear and visually appealing manner, making it accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
- Interpret data trends and patterns to provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements and user manuals for the organization
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing data validation and quality checks.
- Adhere to data governance and security policies to protect sensitive or confidential data.
- Stay updated with the latest business intelligence tools and techniques, and recommend improvements to reporting processes.
- Perform any other duties required from the Line Manager.
Candidate Must have :
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a mustExtensive experience in business intelligence and data visualization tools preferably in Microsoft Power BI.Familiar with relational (MySQL) databases and able to construct complex queries.Familiar using Python to manipulate data and visualize insights.Fair understanding of data warehouse, ETL and ELTExperience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.Excellent communication and story telling skills.ref : hirist.tech)
