Job Title : Corporate Finance Analyst

Location : Pune (Work from Office)

Reporting To : Project Management Office (PMO), supporting the Management Team

About the Role

Softcell is looking to onboard a high-potential Corporate Finance Analyst to work closely with the Management Team through the Project Management Office (PMO). This is a cross-functional role designed for someone who wants to go beyond traditional finance and be part of strategic business transformation.

As a Corporate Finance Analyst, you will support leadership with business performance reviews, financial forecasting, and operational insights. You will also explore the use of AI and automation to streamline processes and generate data-driven recommendations. The role provides a unique opportunity to work on projects that sit at the intersection of finance, strategy, operations, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

Business Performance Analysis : Support review of revenue, margins, and profitability across business lines; identify key drivers and trends.
Financial Forecasting & Modelling : Assist in building and refining forecasting models using historical data and strategic assumptions.
AI-Enabled Automation & Insights : Explore and pilot AI tools to automate reporting, enable predictive analysis, and improve decision-making workflows.
Strategic Reporting : Create dashboards, business review presentations, and executive summaries for the Management Team.
Operational Insights : Analyse internal processes to identify bottlenecks, suggest improvements, and track project progress via PMO frameworks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with sales, operations, finance, and tech teams to develop a holistic view of the business and support enterprise-wide initiatives.

Who You Are

Postgraduate in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.

Preferred qualification : MBA or CFA (Level I or above).

0–2 years of experience in business analysis, financial planning, strategy, or consulting roles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Spreadsheet and exposure to Analytical tools.

Interest or exposure to AI / ML tools, automation platforms, or predictive analytics is a plus.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when engaging with senior stakeholders.

A self-starter with a structured thought process, eagerness to learn, and strong execution capability.

Compensation

CTC : ₹12 lakhs per annum

includes fixed and performance-based variable components)
