Job Title : Destination Head – AustraliaRole SummaryA reputed education consultancy is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Destination Head – Australia to lead and manage all Australia-focused operations. The role involves overseeing admissions, compliance, team management, partner relationships, and business growth for the Australia market. The ideal candidate must have 7–8 years of experience in a similar role within the education consultancy / overseas education industry.Key Responsibilities1. Strategy & Business GrowthDevelop and implement growth strategies for the Australia destination.Drive student enrollment targets and ensure consistent business performance.Identify new opportunities, partnerships, and market segments.2. Operations & Team LeadershipLead and supervise the destination team, ensuring smooth application processing and client handling.Provide training, guidance, and performance management to staff.Ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to students.3. Client Counseling & AdmissionsOversee student counseling for Australian universities, TAFE institutes, and colleges.Ensure accurate course selection, admission guidance, and documentation.Monitor application quality, SOP reviews, GTE interviews, and visa documentation.4. Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with Australian education and visa guidelines.Maintain high standards in documentation, admission accuracy, and SOP quality.Stay updated on policy changes (GTE, SVP, financial requirements, visas).5. Partner & Stakeholder CoordinationBuild and maintain strong relationships with Australian institutions.Coordinate with university representatives, participate in events, and support marketing activities.Represent the company in destination-related seminars, fairs, and webinars.6. Reporting & CommunicationPrepare regular progress reports, forecasts, and performance updates.Collaborate with senior management to support strategic decision-making.Required Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 7–8 years of experience in a similar role in education consultancy or overseas education industry (Australia-focused).Strong knowledge of Australian institutions, courses, and visa processes.Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.Ability to handle high-volume applications and meet targets.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and client relationship-building capability.
