Technical lead - aws iaas infra engineer

Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled AWS Iaa S Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining AWS infrastructure services. This role ensures high availability, security, and scalability of cloud environments, supports automation and integration with CI / CD pipelines, and provides operational excellence for enterprise workloads.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain AWS Iaa S infrastructure (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM).

Implement networking configurations including VPC peering, subnets, and security groups.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Cloud Formation.

Monitor system health and performance using Cloud Watch and Cloud Trail.

Ensure security compliance, manage IAM roles, and enforce encryption policies.

Perform backup, disaster recovery, and cost optimization strategies.

Integrate infrastructure with CI / CD pipelines for automated deployments.

Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize for high availability and scalability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5+ years of experience in AWS infrastructure engineering.

Strong knowledge of AWS core services and networking fundamentals.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation).

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI / CD tools (Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline).

Scripting proficiency (Python, Shell, Power Shell) for automation.

Exposure to security best practices and compliance frameworks.

Knowledge of cost optimization and performance tuning in AWS.
