Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
Teach gross anatomy, histology, and embryology to medical, dental, or allied health students.
Conduct research in areas related to anatomical sciences, such as comparative anatomy, developmental biology, or functional morphology.
Prepare and manage anatomical specimens, including cadaveric dissection and tissue preservation.
Develop anatomical models and educational resources (digital or physical) for teaching and demonstration.
Participate in curriculum development and assessments for anatomy-related courses.
Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in the use and handling of human remains.
Collaborate with clinicians, physiologists, and biomedical researchers in interdisciplinary projects.
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.
Qualifications :
Master’s or Ph.D. in Anatomy, Biological Sciences, or a related field (a medical degree may be required for clinical teaching roles).
Experience in teaching anatomy or conducting anatomical research.
Proficiency in cadaveric dissection and knowledge of histological techniques.
Familiarity with 3D imaging, virtual dissection tools, or anatomical software (e.g., Visible Body, BioDigital, or cadaver simulators).
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Commitment to ethical practices in anatomical science and education.
