Requirements
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Counsellor with strong skills in sales and career counselling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving student enrolments through proactive lead generation, effective counselling, and prompt follow-up. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a target-driven mindset, and the ability to travel and engage with potential students across various channels and geographies.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead Generation & Enquiry Management
- Proactively generate leads through various methods such as BTL (Below-The-Line) activities, job fairs, college connect programs, employment exchanges, and other offline campaigns.
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of potential students through continuous outreach efforts.
Counselling & Conversion
Counsel prospective students on available courses, eligibility, curriculum, and career outcomes.Guide students through the complete admission process, from initial enquiry to payment and enrolment.Ensure that accurate and complete course information is communicated to each student to aid in decision-making.Assist in identifying student needs and recommend appropriate programs.Enrolment & Admission Process
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrolment targets.Ensure compliance in admission procedures and document verification as per institutional norms.Accurately capture student details and application status in the system.Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate batch launches and student onboarding.System Updation & Reporting
Maintain and update CRM systems or any enrolment platform with current lead status, counselling outcomes, and follow-up activities.Submit daily activity reports to the reporting manager including metrics on enquiries handled, counselling sessions conducted, conversions, and collections.Travel & Outreach Activities
Travel to local and regional locations to conduct enrolment drives, attend career fairs, seminars, and corporate engagements.Represent the organization at various student outreach and community events to increase visibility and lead inflow.Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. A background in education, psychology, business, or marketing will be a plus.Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, career counselling, education counselling, or admissions.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities with a customer-focused approach.Familiarity with CRM tools or student management systems is desirable.Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours when needed.Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
