Job description

Job Title : Application Architect – Oracle Cloud Applications

Role Type : Technical Leader / Data Conversion Consultant

Experience Required : 9+ Years

Job Type : RTH-Y

Location : Bangalore (Work from IBM location; face-to-face interview may be required)

Core Responsibilities :

Provide technical leadership and direction to the offshore development / conversion team
Collaborate closely with the SCM Technical Lead and other stakeholders to define and deliver the data conversion strategy
Analyze legacy data structures, identify key data elements, and ensure complete and accurate data migration
Design and implement conversion solutions and architecture during Oracle Cloud implementations
Develop and manage advanced integration scenarios using :
Oracle Functions
API Gateway
Object Storage
ATP / ADW databases
Ensure data quality, validation, and transformation rules are properly defined and applied
Track, document, and report on technical team activities, issues, risks, and accomplishments regularly

Required Skills (Max 6) :

Technical Leadership in Oracle Cloud Applications

Data Conversion Solution Design & Architecture

Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Integration Services (Functions, API Gateway, etc.)

Experience with Object Storage and Oracle Autonomous Databases (ATP / ADW)

Legacy Data Analysis & Mapping

Strong communication and coordination skills with offshore and cross-functional teams

Nice to Have Skills (Max 3) :

Oracle Cloud SCM experience

Familiarity with Oracle Data Management tools (FBDI, ADFDI, etc.)

Performance tuning and optimization in data migration processes

Work & Project Details :

Work Location Type : Onsite (IBM Bangalore Office)

Remote Work : Not applicable (Day 1 reporting required)

Travel & Lodging : Paid as per project requirements

Education Requirements : [Optional – can be added if specified]

Additional Notes :

Candidate should be available for face-to-face interview at IBM Bangalore upon request

Expected to work in a fast-paced environment with complex Oracle Cloud implementation scenarios
