About the Role :

Opportunity at Meril : Territory Sales Manager

Location : Kolkata

Responsibilities :

  • You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing sales and business for territory.
  • Plan activities, supporting customers in using company resources and promotional activities as identified by the RSM Sales strategies.
  • Connecting and engage with top Surgeons and KOL’s.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Responsible for the sales for the assigned territory.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products / services.
  • Meeting all customers and developing contacts.
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
  • Ensure stock availability for sales and demonstrations.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
  • Negotiate / close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve better results.

Qualifications :

Education : B.Sc / BA or Pharma graduate / Post Graduation

Required Skills :

  • Personality : Communicative, Social, Persuasive, Energetic, Self-Motivated, Problem Solving
  • Past Experiences : With Past experience with Surgical, Medical Device and healthcare Org.
  • Proven experience in a Sales / KOL Management , preferably within the medical device industry.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting market trends and customer behavior.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving Sales objectives and contributing to overall business success.
