Microsoft Research India ( MSR I ndia ) is inviting applications for Postdoctoral Researcher positions. The postdoc program at MSR I ndia provides post doctoral researchers an opportunity to work on impactful research problems while collaborating closely with Microsoft r esearchers and product groups. Postdoctoral researchers spend 1 to 2 years at MSR I ndia and receive ongoing guidance and mentoring from experienced researcher s .

Our areas of interest are Computer Science Theory and Cryptography Machine Learning and AI Systems and Technology and Empowerment . Projects in the lab are interdisciplinary and span across these research areas. While we are looking for exceptional candidates in all these areas we are particularly interested in candidates with a demonstrated track record in AI / ML research including advances in AI / ML algorithms systems for AI workloads the science behind AI models and application of AI models to different areas (software engineering societal issues etc.).
