Position Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and experienced

Senior DevOps Engineer

to join our client’s team. In this role, you will help build and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure, CI / CD automation, and platform reliability across cloud environments. You will lead platform upgrades and migrations, improve system observability, and ensure robust support for production systems. This role includes participation in an on-call rotation to support critical infrastructure and operational reliability.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO :

Infrastructure as Code : Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using

Terraform

• Cloud Platforms : Build, manage, and optimize scalable and cost-efficient solutions in
• CI / CD : Develop and maintain automated CI / CD pipelines using tools like

GitHub Actions

GitLab CI / CD

monitoring, logging, and alerting

with

New Relic

Splunk

to maintain system uptime and performance. Kubernetes : Deploy and manage containerized workloads using

Kubernetes

to ensure scalability and reliability. Event Streaming : Work with

Kafka

to support real-time, event-driven architectures. Data Platform Support : Collaborate with engineering teams to support

BigQuery

Snowflake

and big data platforms like

Hadoop / EMR / DataProc

Monitoring system health and responding to alerts Troubleshooting and resolving incidents with urgency Escalating critical issues and documenting post-incident learnings

WHAT YOU BRING Primary Technologies :

AWS, GCP, Terraform, CI / CD Tools (e.G., GitHub Actions, GitLab), New Relic, Splunk, Kubernetes, Kafka, BigQuery, Snowflake, Hadoop / EMR / DataProc

Required Skills & Professional Experience :

7+ years of experience in

DevOps

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

or similar roles Strong hands-on experience with

GCP Expertise in

Terraform

for infrastructure as code Deep understanding of

CI / CD pipelines

and automation tools Experience with

monitoring / logging tools

like New Relic and Splunk Proficiency with

Kubernetes

for orchestrating containerized applications Familiarity with

Kafka

for real-time messaging and event-driven architecture Experience supporting large-scale

data platforms

BigQuery, Snowflake, Hadoop / EMR / DataProc) Solid understanding of

cloud networking and security principles Proven success in

leading platform upgrades and migrations Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills Excellent communication and collaboration across teams
