ITC Infotech - Cloud Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

Responsibilities :

• GCP Infrastructure Management : Manage and maintain robust and scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Disaster Recovery : Develop, test, and implement comprehensive disaster recovery strategies and solutions within GCP to ensure business continuity.
• Automation : Drive automation efforts for both infrastructure provisioning and application deployments on the cloud platform.
• Containerized Workloads : Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized workloads using GCP GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).
• Networking : Demonstrate a strong understanding of networking concepts and their implementation within the GCP environment, ensuring seamless communication between services.
• Cloud Security : Implement and maintain robust cloud security measures, adhering to best practices and compliance standards on GCP.
• Agile Collaboration : Actively participate in an Agile / Scrum development environment, contributing to sprints and collaborating effectively with cross-functional :
• Overall 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3+ years of dedicated experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining disaster recovery strategies in GCP.
• Well-versed in automation on cloud platforms, including both infrastructure as code and application deployment automation.
• Hands-on experience with hosting and managing containerized workloads in GCP GKE.
• Solid understanding of GCP networking and communication patterns.
• Clear understanding and practical experience with cloud security principles and best practices.
• Good understanding of Scrum / Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Relevant certification in core GCP skills (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, etc.) is required.
