Complete Knowledge about Brocade and Cisco Switches.Hitachi Storage management. Should be able to troubleshoot Performance issues.Should have good understanding of CLI, GUI, install and configurations of Hitachi VSP G-series Storage systems, Provisioning, Replication (UR, SI) , Hitachi Command Suite, Brocade Network Adviser etc.Resource should have performance, replication, troubleshooting capability and should be able to provide data (Export dumps, Support save, HCS, Horcm CCI server logs) to Hitachi Support.SAN Switch knowledge (Trouble shooting, Zoning etc.) using OEM Tools.Maintain Storage pools threshold by planning and handle migration of Luns across pools using HTSMResource should have performance, replication, troubleshooting capability and should be able to providedata (Export dumps, Support save, HCS, Horcm CCI server logs) to Hitachi Support.Should have exposure to the Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity practices & Planned Maintenanceactivities.Ensure to learn organizations alert management platforms, terminology and functions.Upgrade knowledge regularly on latest OS technologies, Migration experience would be added advantage.SAN Switch knowledge (Trouble shooting, Zoning etc.)Maintain Storage pools threshold by planning and handle migration if required.Implement storage Disaster Recovery capabilities to meet each applications Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) according to their assigned tiers.Expert in design, configuration and implementation of Storage.High Availability Configurations AwarenessCustom Design.Performance Management of Backup Infrastructure.Knowledge on Hitachi Replication configuration and recovery.Knowledge on Reporting & Monitoring.Exposure on VMware infrastructure & Backup overview.Strong troubleshooting skills in Storage Infrastructure environment and advanced problem-solving skills.Proactive measures and preventive measures for problems / errors.Management of Storage SLAs and KPIs.Liaise with vendors & OEMs for the technical issues / escalations.Drive major incidents and resolutions.Documentation & Operational performance reporting.People management and skills development.Own and Drive Service Improvement plans.Identify, own and mitigate risks.Ensure compliance to client and organization processes and policies.Perform performance tuning.Should have relevant scripting knowledge.Preparing scripting tools for automation.Exposure to mid-range & high-end servers and backup appliances.Exposure on clustering & High Availability.License Management.Enable and support the team in resolving day-to-day production issues, disaster recovery exercise, capacity planning and other activities as may be necessary.ITIL Certified preferred
