Co-Owner – Sales (Business Loans)
As a Co-Owner responsible for Sales in the Business Loans division, you will lead and drive the Company’s Lending Growth Strategy. This role combines Entrepreneurial Ownership with Hands-on Sales Leadership. You will manage Client Acquisition, Develop Lending Partnerships, strengthen the Company’s Market Presence, and Work closely with other Co-owners to shape Business Direction and Profitability.
Sales & Client Acquisition
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for business loan products (SME loans, working capital, term loans, equipment financing, etc.).
- Identify and acquire new business clients through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM and structured follow-up processes.
Relationship Management
Develop long-term relationships with SMEs, corporates, financial advisors, and channel partners.Conduct client meetings to understand financing needs and propose suitable lending solutions.Ensure excellent post-loan servicing to maintain strong client loyalty and high retention.Business Strategy & Ownership Responsibilities
Contribute to the company’s overall strategic planning, including product development, revenue targets, and market expansion.Oversee pricing, loan structuring, and negotiation to ensure profitability and compliance.Evaluate and onboard partnerships with banks, NBFCs, fintechs, or DSAs to broaden product capabilities.Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure that all loan proposals meet internal credit policy and regulatory guidelines.Work closely with underwriting teams to maintain high-quality credit decisions.Monitor portfolio performance and address any early warning signs of risk.Team Leadership
Build, mentor, and manage sales teams or independent loan consultants.Provide training on loan products, underwriting basics, and sales best practices.Set sales KPIs, track performance, and drive a results-oriented culture.Qualifications : -
Proven experience in selling business loans or other financial products (3–10+ years).Strong understanding of SME finance, lending policies, and loan underwriting basics.Demonstrated ability to close high-value deals and manage complex sales cycles.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive growth.Preferred Skill : -
Existing network of SME clients, bankers, DSAs, or financial partners.Experience working in NBFC, bank, fintech, or loan distribution company.Familiarity with CRM systems and digital lending tools.KEY ATTRIBUTES
