Description :
We are seeking an enthusiastic Level 1 / 2 Support Engineer to assist in managing and troubleshooting tools used in vehicle diagnostic systems and to provide first-line support for database tools used in vehicle diagnostics and assist in basic testing activities. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operation of diagnostic database systems, along with executing test cases to validate tool functionality and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide first-level support for database tools used in vehicle diagnostics.
- Monitor and maintain database performance, ensuring uptime and reliability.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to data storage, retrieval, and connectivity.
- Work with engineering teams to resolve tool-related problems and implement fixes.
- Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as backups and updates.
- Document support processes and maintain knowledge base articles.
- Respond to user queries and provide timely resolutions.
Skills Requirement :
Basic understanding of relational databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).ITIL framework knowledgeFamiliarity with diagnostic tools and automotive systems.Knowledge of data structures and troubleshooting techniques.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and customer support skills.Provide Level 1 support for database tools used in vehicle diagnostic systems.Respond to user queries, resolve basic issues, and escalate complex problems to Level 2 / 3 teams.Monitor database health and perform routine checks for data integrity and connectivity.Assist in executing functional and regression test cases for diagnostic tools.Document incidents, resolutions, and testing results in the knowledge base.Collaborate with development and QA teams for bug reporting and verification.Perform basic data validation and ensure compliance with standards.Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).Understanding of software testing concepts (manual testing, test case execution).Understanding automation concepts.Familiarity with issue tracking tools (JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar).Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Good communication and customer support abilities, able to work in shift as required.Exposure to automotive diagnostic tools or embedded systems is a plus.Nice-to-Have :
