Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Functional Consultant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Finance Module) with a strong background in the Manufacturing domain.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing business processes, gathering requirements, configuring and implementing the Finance module of D365 BC, and ensuring alignment with manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Gather and analyze client business requirements specific to Finance and Manufacturing operations.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and prepare functional design documents.
- Configure and implement Finance modules in Business Central, including :
1. General Ledger (GL).
2. Accounts Payable (AP).
3. Accounts Receivable (AR).
4. Fixed Assets.
5. Bank Management.
6. Cost Accounting.
7. Budgeting.
Align financial processes with manufacturing-specific workflows such as production costing, inventory valuation, and WIP accounting.Conduct data migration, system testing (UAT), and end-user training.Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to translate functional specifications into technical deliverables.Support go-live activities and provide post-implementation support.Ensure compliance with financial standards, internal controls, and best Skills & Qualifications :Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.89 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in ERP implementations, specifically with D365 Business Central.Strong expertise in Finance module configuration and processes in BC.Proven experience in the Manufacturing domain, with understanding of finance-manufacturing integration.Knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS), multi-currency, and financial reporting.Experience in end-to-end implementation projects (preferably 3+ full-cycle projects).Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional Qualifications :Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 Business Central or related areas.Familiarity with extensions and AL development (functional perspective).Multi-entity financial environments.ref : hirist.tech)
