The Colleague Services organization within the Colleague Experience Group (CEG - also known as Human Resources) at American Express plays a critical role in providing the outstanding services, capabilities, data, and insights that enable a great colleague experience. We build, run, and evolve the incredible platforms, products and services that enable colleagues to do their best work every single day.
This role will report to the Manager, Colleague Insights within Colleague Services. As part of this team, you will manage integrations, reporting, and support and implementation for Oracle HCM Cloud and boundary systems within American Express. You will provide in-depth expertise to build new integrations and reports, along with the support and uplift of existing ones. You will partner with HR operations, product, and Technology engineering to unlock the full potential of our HR systems.
Job responsibilities include :
- Developing Reports and Analytics using Oracle HCM Cloud Reporting tools and technologies i.e. BI Publisher, SQL, HCM Extract, OTBI, Tableau and Dashboards.
- Manage Colleague Data Servicing on Data and Reporting for CEG & Non CEG Business units
- Support end to end operations for HCM Data Report Intake process and Governance using Oracle HCM
- Investigate, Troubleshoot and resolve Technical issues related to Oracle HCM Cloud Reports. Troubleshoot systems and data and generate solutions which may include systems modifications enhancements or new procedures.
- Training & development of team members and other business units on the available tools
- Focus on driving efficiencies to eliminate manual dependencies and focus on Automation
- Collaborate with other stakeholders - technologies, product team and other cross-functional team members to achieve organizational goals
- Develop tools / Reports within HCM for other CEG teams to enable easy & effective access to the HCM data.
- Staying up to date with the latest Oracle HCM Cloud releases, updates, and features.
- Identify and analyse operational and systems issues and opportunities and produce effective solutions
- Collaborate with other CEG teams, Technology and other partners supporting roadmaps and looking for process improvements with our Oracle HCM products.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / B.Tech / BCA (e.g. Computer Science or other Technical Degrees).2-4 years of working experience in the Reports & Analytics Industry and have good knowledge of Oracle SQL,BIP, OTBI Reporting and related programming skills.Proficient in writing SQL queries, functions from scratch basis the business requirements.Have strong knowledge of the templates for developing the reports like Excel Template, RTF template.Hands-on familiarity with Oracle HCM Cloud Tools i.e. BI Publisher, SQL, HCM Extracts, OTBI etc. with exposure on specific modules like Core HR, ORC (Oracle Recruiting Cloud), OLC (Learning Cloud), Career and Performance etc.Experience on HCM Data Loaders, Load error Analysis, Data Validation, HCM Extracts, Integrations, Fast Formula will be preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate between various technical and non-technical audiencesExcellent planning and organizations skills including ability to manage inter-dependencies and execute under stringent timelinesProactive learner with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and techniques with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications :
